I’m Jacob the creator of Tel-AI-phone. When image generating AI models emerged I was amazed! It could generate just about anything I asked for. But as anyone who has played with these models knows, the crap to quality ratio is pretty heavy to the crap side. Some hilarious crap though!
Tel-AI-phone is a spin on the classic telephone game where a line of people whisper a message from one person to the next, usually resulting in a comical and unexpected end result. Only now instead of whispering one to another you pass around pictures generated by AI.

So what is Tel-AI-phone?
How do you play Tel-AI-phone?
Tel-AI-phone is a group party game where each player participates from their phone (or computer). One device will be the host which will generally be displayed on a TV or projector.
What platforms are Tel-AI-phone available on?
Currently Tel-AI-phone is available as a web application accessible from any device. In development we’ve loved the ability to access it from any device and cast to a TV. We are also working towards launching on Steam sometime summer 2024.
How many people can play?
4-8 players.
Is tel-AI-phone family friendly?
Mostly. The initial image that starts the “whisper” chain is uploaded by the players so please keep in mind your audience when uploading. Prompts for image generation are passed through a content filter. Although we can’t guarantee it’s perfectly family friendly we are doing our best to make sure that it’s a safe game for all ages to play.
How long are images I upload stored, and what are they used for?
During beta, there is no set time for how long images will be stored, they may be deleted periodically.
